In 7/8 Technology we are currently doing some computer aided drafting using a program called Sketch Up. This is a fun way to get to know how the architectural plans are designed. Just what exactly goes into creating a structure?
In 6th grade Technology we have wrapped up our All About Me presentations and are moving into Google Earth. Now that we have gotten to know each other better, we will learn more about the planet on which we live. Discovering and studying new and exciting places is fun.

-TCDS annual pumpkin patch Friday, October 27th
Each year TCDS holds a special Pumpkin Patch here on campus. All classes participate and join us down on the field to pick out a pumpkin and join in other fun activities. Pumpkins are $5 each, only 1 pumpkin per child. Prepaying with your child’s teacher is accepted; however students may pay the day of.
-TCDS annual Halloween day costume parade
Our Costume Parade will be held on Halloween day, Tuesday, October 31st at 9am. Students are asked to come to school dressed in their costume. K-5th grade students should wear their school uniform under their costume or bring their uniform clothes to change into after the parade is over. Middle School students are welcome to wear appropriate costumes throughout the whole day. Please no scary/gory masks, blood or weapons.
